Nod for the Shakambhari Conservation Reserve
Various important decisions were taken in the State Cabinet meeting held at Chief Minister’s office on Wednesday including approving the proposal related to declaration of “Shakambhari Conservation Reserve”. The meeting was presided over by the Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot.
The proposal regarding declaration of 13,100 hectare reserve forest land of Raghunath forest block situated in Sikar and Jhunjhnu districts as “Shakambhari Conservation Reserve” under the section 36-A of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 was given approval in the meeting. The decision would help in promoting eco-tourism besides providing effective protection and atmosphere for the development of the wild life.
The State Cabinet gave approval to the proposal related to providing 100 percent exemption in Mandi Tax to M/S Goyal Proteins Ltd. for setting up production unit of innovative nature and high value added product manufacturing from soyabean oil cakes. Proposal regarding providing special package to Rajesh Motors Pvt. Ltd for making truck body, cabin, dumper and trailer on chassis was also given approval in the meeting. The project would bring investment of Rs. 30 crore and help in providing direct and indirect employment to around 700 to 800 people.
The proposal related to providing customized package to Shriram Pistons and Rings Ltd. for setting up of Auto Component Manufacturing Unit of Pistons & Piston rings and engine valves was also approved by the State Cabinet. The decision would pave way for the investment of Rs. 539 crores and help in providing direct employment to 500 people. It would also help in providing network logistic facilities to the Auto component units currently functioning in the State.
The State Cabinet also gave nod to the draft of The Rajasthan Private Universities Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2012. The proposed bill would be presented in the next assembly session.
