The weekend is coming and all picnic spots are getting ready to entertain Udaipurites. With good rain this year the entire picnic spots in and nearby Udaipur are ready with the natural makeup of rain and greenery. The Nandeshwer Channel, Thoor ki paal, Chota Madar, and many more small channels are overflowed are proving themselves as good picnic spots. The only thing for which the Udaipurites are waiting eagerly is to see Fathesagar overflowed. Yet there are so many lakes in the city of lakes but Fatehsagar is always considered as the most beautiful lake and is given preference as it is situated in the heart of the city.

The rainy season comes to its end in Rajasthan and so as in Udaipur. One thing that can be seen everywhere in Lake city is Water, water and water. Like the last year this year is also proved lucky for Udaipur.  All the lakes have got good amount of water and are ready to overflow. Swarupsagar, Pichola are overflowed and Fateh Sagar is getting ready to overflow. Fateh Sagar level has reached 11.5 ft. and requires only 1.5 ft. In many areas of the city water is flowing on road, in Bohra Ganesji area, Bapu Bazar, and Udaiyapol roads are covered with water and roads are blocked.  Due to heavy rain the atmosphere is pretty cool and Udaipurites started to experience the early winters. In Banswara, Chittoregrah, dungerpur and Pratapgrah and many areas near Udaipur, good rain is recorded. Rajasamand is recorded with more than 1 inch rain on Tuesday and the rain still continues to fall there. People, farmers are still praying to God Indra (the lord of Rain) for good rain in all regions. The Fateh Sagar Lake is expected to overflow in 2-3 days.
